WE’VE GOT TELEPHONES TO SAY WHAT WE CAN’T SAY

Once, early last summer, I drove for two days from the Montana-Idaho border to the entrance to Crater Lake. I’ve tried three times now and still haven’t seen that lake.

  1. Jay, these photos are beautiful. The writing on that truck makes me think of Jay Sawyer’s sculpture park on Rt. 1 in Warren, Maine. You should check it out if you haven’t yet, though if you spent time in Maine I’m sure you have. Here’s my post about it from a while back:
