Jeremy, my best friend since I was 12, is a Louisiana roughneck. I’ve been thinking of him lately, since shit hit the fan at his office, the Gulf of Mexico. The photos here are from the Kit Kittle book which documents the unique breed in 1980′s Texas and Louisiana.
